Ogechi Ebere is the Founder and Board Chair of the Young Scholars Haven Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to life-changing educational opportunities for academically gifted students from underserved communities.

A healthcare executive and dual-certified nurse practitioner, Ogechi has dedicated her career to strengthening systems of care and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations. Her leadership is grounded in structure, integrity, and long-term sustainability.

She established the Foundation from a deeply held belief that brilliance exists in every community. Her vision is to build an enduring institution that identifies exceptional talent, removes financial barriers, and creates pathways for students to thrive, lead, and give back.

Abiola Laseinde

Abiola Laseinde is an African business leader and governance strategist with over two decades of experience in law, enterprise advisory, and technology leadership.

As Founder and CEO of Edniesal Consulting Limited, she advises boards and executive teams on corporate governance, digital transformation, and organizational performance. She is the Convener of the CIO & C-Suite Awards Africa and Founder of CIO Club Africa.

Ruth Ebere

Ruth Ebere is a board member of the Young Scholars Haven Foundation, an organization committed to expanding access to life-changing educational opportunities for academically gifted students from underserved communities.

An entrepreneur and accounting professional with over five years of experience, Ruth has built ventures and managed finances with purpose, integrity, and precision. Her work is grounded in a people-first philosophy and a genuine love for seeing others grow, excel, and reach their full potential.

She joined the Foundation's board driven by a deep conviction that every person deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. Ruth believes that life's challenges don't diminish us. They add depth to our stories and strengthen our character. That belief shapes her commitment to nurturing resilience in the next generation.

Philip Otoko

Philip Otoko is an experienced aviation professional with over two decades of leadership across airport and airline operations. Known for his strategic mindset and commitment to safety, efficiency, and operational excellence, he has led teams and delivered results in complex, high-pressure environments.

Philip is passionate about community development and education, serving as a Board Member of the Young Scholars Haven Foundation, where he supports initiatives that empower and uplift the next generation.

Akunma Mukoro

Akunma Mukoro is a dedicated community advocate with a strong commitment to education, service, and youth development. As a Board Member of the Young Scholars Haven Foundation, she supports initiatives that nurture young minds and expand educational opportunity.

She is also an entrepreneur in the fashion industry and a healthcare professional providing compassionate care. Akunma is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of education and is passionate about empowering the next generation.
